‘Issued from Tehran’ to battle it out at Urban Festival

Iranian new documentary ‘Issued from Tehran’ is to vie at the 6th Urban International Film Festival in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.

Directed by Elham Hatami and Mohammad Hatami, the film is a nostalgic depiction of the Iranian capital city of Tehran.

The film features Iranian actors such as Salar Aghili, Mohammad Hossein Latifi, Behnoosh Bakhtiari, Hanieh Tavassoli, Reza Yazdani and Borzou Arjmand.

Organized by the Art and Culture Organization of Tehran Municipality, the International Urban Film Festival includes categories such as Iranian Cinema (competition), International Cinema (competition) and Neighborhood section.

The International Urban Film Festival’s main focus is on the significance of city and urbanism in human life. The event also seeks to promote empathy and moral values in cinematic works and offers a platform for exchange of ideas and experiences among the cities of the world.

The 6th Urban Film Festival is slated to run from July 31 to August 5, 2017.
